I received a disturbing phone call at 2:00 am from an unknown source.

It barred me from reporting to work at my regular scheduled time of 7:00 am, and caused me to instead begin at 11:00 am and drop my son off at my sister's house. Because she had to step out to run a few errands, she left him with our father, who was known for his incessant cries, longing for his home country. While still watching over my son, my father fell asleep and because of a lack of supervision, the baby managed to make his way outside to my sister's pool. After 30 min., when my father finally woke, he was presented to the disturbing image of my son, floating lifeless in the center of the water, containing 5 gallons of chlorine deposited by my brother in law that same day. My father's old age and fragile bones made it difficult for him to try to swim out to the center of the water to attempt to save the infant, so he continued to stand, eyes closed, crying out to God in agony. Then, miraculously, after re-opening his eyes, he found his grandson floating at his feet. He was then left in shock and amazement when he saw this event take place, and brought him inside the house. When my nieces came home 2 hours later to the sounds my father's cries, they took it as his regular routine of longing for home, but strangely after leaving the house again, they still returned to the sound of him crying, until finally they realized that their baby cousin was dead. They immediately called 911 and the nearest law enforcement came to the house, while an ambulance started on it's way. While the officer investigated the event, he began to hear voices after entering the house. It began with a soft command, slap the baby, but the officer shook it off. A second time, the voice called out, a little more forceful, slap the baby,, but again the officer ignored it. Finally, a third time, he heard a screaming voice shouting, SLAP THE BABY!!! Immediately the officer jumped and slapped the child violently across the face. My child went into a seizure and quickly the medics rushed him to Jackson North, (formerly known as Parkway Hospital.) I received a phone call from my eldest son around 4:00 pm telling me that his baby brother drowned in my sister's pool. I immediately left my job and had one of my co workers drive me to the hospital. I had never been to the Emergency Room and yet I still managed to locate the room my son was admitted to. My husband had already arrived when I came to the scene. While still standing in front of my son's room, one of the doctors came out and stated If this is the mother of the child, do not let her in, so my husband restrained me as I tried to make my way into the room. I told the doctor that I needed to make a phone call, meaning that I wanted to pray; I implored the doctor to make "the call" with me because I was too weak to do it by myself. He seemed confused as to why he needed the both of us to make this call together, but I simply replied to him with the energy that I still had remaining from this ordeal, In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus declared 'I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. Where two or more gather in My name, I am there in the midst of them.'" After our prayer, I went outside the ER and laid on the concrete in front of the doors. I felt as if I had nothing to live for if my youngest son did not live, so I simply laid on the grounds where the ER usually made their carry outs. As I laid on the ground, I began to hear a voice call out to me saying, what are you doing on the floor? Like the police back at the house, I ignored the voice and stayed laid on the concrete. Again, the voice asked me the simple question, but again, I ignored the inquiry. Finally, a third time, the voice called out and screamed WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE FLOOR!? I was startled, stood up, and declared that if God would raise my son from the dead, just as He did for Lazarus and Jarius's daughter, I would make His name known around the world and offer my life as a living sacrifice. Right on cue, I heard God's voice reply, What are you waiting for? With that, I ran back into the Emergency Room area, burst into the room, and requested to all the doctors that I see my son. I received confused and concerning looks from the physicians, yet they still allowed me to pray over my son.

Two hours later, one of the doctors reported that the child managed to release a very weak breath, showing slight signs of life, but was still characterized with a dead brain. He decided it'd be best if he was transferred to Miami Children's Hospital. The new doctor received the news reported from the one from Parkway, and he had the same defeatist mindset as the previous doctor. Neither of them believed that my son would be saved, but I knew in my heart that he would. I told the doctor that after redoing the CT scan, he would find a brain full of life because my redeemer never lies. I believed in my "other doctor" that would surely raise him back to life. The doctor told me,Mrs. Andre, I have been doing this practice for over 21 years, and I've never seen a case come out of this successfully. If you truly believe in this 'other doctor', you'd better contact him quickly, because he is the only one who can save your son. I took these words very close to heart because 48 hours later, the doctor relayed to me that after many tests, he and his team could not find any signs of a lack of life in my son. He had been saved, just as I believed he would. The word of God declares in: Hebrews 12:2, saying we must always looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7, saying that we must walk by faith, not by sight. So I am here declaring anytime you work by faith, you are working with God's eyes: Romans 10:17 "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Hebrew 11:1,6 "Now faith is a substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen...but without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is rewarded of those who diligently seek Him." Since I had made that covenant to God on October 1st 2001, I've been on the streets evangelizing and sharing my son's testimony, and since earlier this year, my son and I have been going to different churches sharing our story. This ministry's vision is focused on how great God is and how important it is to have faith in life, for without it, it is impossible to please Him or be prosperous. Psalms 50:15 says, Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. His words is proof that no matter what our circumstances, He will NEVER fail us, but only if we believe He will deliver us, just as I did when he raised my son from the dead. Here are a few of the many scriptures God has guided me to. These words are relevant to my mission and I hope you find them as powerful and encouraging as I have. Psalm 76:11 Make vow to the Lord your God, and pay them. Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed. Better not to vow than to vow and not pay. Psalm 50:14 Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your wows to the Most High. Psalm 105:1b, 2b, 5a Make known His deeds among the peoples!...talk of all His wondrous works!..Remember His marvelous works which He has done. Revelation 12:11 We overcome by two things: the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Psalm 78:56 Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God, And did not keep His testimonies. Usually, Our God refines us for His Glory, and here is the proof in God's words. Isaiah 48:10-13; 16 The Lord spoke: "Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another. Listen to Me, I am He, I am the First, I am also

the Last. My hand has laid the foundation to the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens...I have not spoken in secret from the beginning." John 9:2-3 The disciple asked Jesus saying, 'Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?' Jesus replied, 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.'" In Luke 17:11-19, Jesus talks about the ten lepers who became cleansed. Only one of the ten sick men returned to Jesus to thank him for his healing. Like this man, we should all return to God to thank Him for our miracles, and share the good news of what He has done for us. In Matthew 9:37, Jesus is seeking help so that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, meaning God's work is fervent and available for us to share but not enough of His servants are doing so. Anyone reading this may wonder and ask themselves, why is this all important? or "What does it mean to bare a testimony? Here is the answer: A testimony is a spiritual witness given by the truthfulness of the Gospel. It also is the foundation of the knowledge of God. When we bare a testimony, we declare to others what we know to be true by the power of the Holy Spirit. A personal testimony is God letting you hear His voice and know what is going on in His mind. Psalm 119:2: "Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!" My son and I want to help spread the good news that the Lord has given us the opportunity to share. If you have been blessed by this testimony, we hope that you will consider helping us reach the rest of the world.
