President

Act as club representative at functions.

Chairperson Chair the club Executive and Annual General Meeting Co-ordinate club policy and ensure its delivery Lead by example Represent the club in public Make rulings, direct committee procedures and explain club policy Maintain the good name ofthe club Make decisions of a routine nature

Secretary Prepare and

notiff relevant persons ofagendas for Executive and Annual General Meetings in conjunction with Chairperson

Record and circulate minutes ofmeetings Ensure the club is represented at meetings which involve the club Act as intermediary between the committee and the club coach Ensure the day to day business of the club is carried out Be responsible for ensuring WASA affiliation and registration (in conjunction with Membership Secretary) is dealt with, plus affiliation to any other relevant bodies.

Treasurer

Maintain up to date accounts of income and expenditure Prepare the club's annual budget for approval by the Executive Prepare financial statement for each Executive Meeting, showing current position against budget Prepare for and ensure that the annual accounts are audited and submitted to the WASA Prepare Treasurer's annual report and present to Annual General Meeting Ensure sufficient capital reserve funds to meet all financial responsibilities Liase with the club's bankers on bank charges, investments etc.

Membership Secretary In conjunction with the Treasurer, be responsible for collection of club membership fees. In conjunction with the Secretary, be responsible for WASA registrations Provide the club coaches with up to date registers Keep and update a register of all club members and their email addresses Liase between members and Executive on membership matters Maintain contact with swimmers who have not attended club sessions recently and asceftain the reason

Obtain maximum publicity for the club through the media
