HEALTH FUN & FITNESS STAFFING INFORMATION

Staffing Health Fun & Fitness will be staffing their Summer Camp with local university students that are either Education Majors or Physical Education Majors. This is being classified as an internship program and is worth one full credit. They are being accepted into the program through the recommendation of the program chair from their respective schools. These schools include: Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis Ivy Tech Community College Marian University Indiana Wesleyan University

Background Checks Each of the students will have acquired a background check within the last year due to Service Learning and Student Teaching positions fulfilled. They will be required to bring proof of that background check when they complete the Information Sheet. Drug Testing Working students will sign for a release of drug testing on the Information Sheet. There will be a certified clinician on-site one week before the beginning of camp to complete the testing. Each working student should report for drug testing at that time. The results of those tests will be sent to the Staffing Office of Health Fun and Fitness. Staff to Student Ratio The ratio for staff member to student will be 10:1 for all levels. There will be an overall coach each day to direct the physical education program. These same workers will assist in registration of the students, administer snacks, and help oversee physical activities; all with their respective group.
