NARRATIVE REPORT

On-the-job Training (OJT) prepares me to practice my profession. It helps me to enhance my skills and to be a better communicator and as a practitioner. City Tourism Office, wherein I accomplish my Public Relations Internship. When I started my first day as an intern I felt little bit nervous because it was my first time to experience internship and Im scared to commit mistakes. But in the moment, I realized that I need to perform well in their office and give my best performance and I need to prove myself to them. While waiting for Ms. Eunice who was assigned to orient us, I was thinking what kind of person is she. But when we already met her, shes kind and a little bit strict when it comes to wearing uniforms. She assigned us to go with Mr. Gabriel Keith. Mr. Gabriel Keith is the assign person to mentor us in our internship. He gave us tasks to be accomplished in the given time. He brought us to KAPIHAN or called as press conference. He wants us to gather information and interface with media people in every place we go. I did paper works too and answered phone calls when I was in their office. I learned a lot of things in every task. I learned to handle my responsibilities and I also observed proper time management and act with speed and urgency. While gaining a lot of experience in this internship I gained camaraderie too. I will never forget this internship. This internship is one of the factor which I totally developed my personality and capabilities.
