I have known Mr. Asif Ijaz Hussain Arab for more than two years as the Dean of Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI). I have also been his course instructor for two courses: Industrial Chemistry (1st Semester) and Introduction to Engineering Materials (2nd Semester) and have found him an avid learner. Mr. Asif Ijaz Hussain Arab has commendable interpersonal and communication skills. He was very determined to learn as evidenced by his keen presence in the class. He took part in the class activities with a lot of alacrity. He always proved to be a focused person, who listened well; and delivered enthusiastically on time. He is a diligent student who is eager to take on challenging tasks. His strong abilities and skills to implement theoretical knowledge into practical clearly speak of his aptitude in technology. His grades in my courses might not reflect his true calibre but his performance in class projects has truly been remarkable and proves he is very much competent. He is always curious about new technologies and research and is fully capable of performing exceptionally in any engineering field. I feel confident that he will continue to succeed in his studies. I strongly recommend Mr. Asif Ijaz into your institution of higher learning.
