I. General Purpose

General purpose of the training was to transfer knowledge of Occupational

Health & Safety (OH&S) to site-supervisors. Supervisors with his knowledge of
OH&S were expected to be able to implement OH&S programs for the
manpower on site under his responsibility.

Outputs expected from the training are:

1. Supervisors understand the steps of accident, ratio of accident and iceberg
phenomenon, and controlling of accident.
2. Supervisors understand process of fire, classification of fire, prevention of fire,
and fire fighting.
3. Supervisors understand meaning and benefit of OH&S inspection, when -
where - how to do OH&S inspection, how to make OH&S inspection report.
4. Supervisors understand steps of incident investigation, use of incident
investigation, who to do incident investigation.
5. Supervisors understand to identify, evaluate, and control cause factors of
health hazards.
6. Supervisors understand
7. Supervisor understand type, requirements, limitation of PPE, and able to
select PPE suitable for the work.
8. Supervisors understand Basic environmental management.
9. Supervisors understand Basic OH&S Management System.
10. Supervisors understand Basic Risk Management.

II. Schedule

Training was held from 1 to 6 June 2009 (32 lesson-hours).

III. Organizer and Location

Training was organized by PT. SSP and located in It’s Meeting Room.
