EFFECTIVE CHILD RIGHTS ACTIVISTS

Activision needs passion, motivation and inspiration. But it is challenging to be an effective child rights activist unless you have the capacity to understand the essence of volunteerism along with the ways of sustaining your volunteer services towards the achievement of social goal This training is designed to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the social activists and volunteers working for the promotion, protection and implementation of child rights. Training addresses the participatory approach of management and supervision. It further explains their role in advocacy. Participants will also be guided on how to deal with the child rights issues logically and legally. A three days training covers various topics as roles and responsibilities of a child rights activist; indicators of an effective volunteer group; ways of meeting the expected responsibilities; ways on how to raise local funds for sustainability of the projects; dealing with local child rights related issues; participatory monitoring and evaluation of projects etc..
