Why I Create A Fanpage: 1. Everyone has one, so I should put one up too. 2. It's a cool thing to do. I don't want to be labeled "uncool". 3. All of these social media consultants say it's a must to have for all businesses because it's for branding, it can get millions of fans and some other hype stories. 4. They say it can generate a lot of free traffic. Although those reasons could valid, here are my other "practical" reasons... 5. Blogging is "dead". Start using your Fanpage to publish content. 6. Most of my subscribers and customers are in Facebook. Go where your "fans" are. Just like how you would do marketing, you'll go where the "market" is. 7. Facebook is the most viral platform ever created today, period. 8. It's a "neutral" ground that advocates people to share their opinions towards your products, content, business, etc. 9. It's integrated with Facebook ads, conveniently allowing you to advertise. 10. Facebook Fanpage has evolved. It used to be mainly for "social networking" and "community" today, it has been "accepted" to be a commercial platform for business. To create your own Fanpage, just go to www.facebook.com/page. Feel free to leave your Fanpage url at the comment too. And of course, click LIke if you agree with any of the points above.
