Registration Process
Patrons who wish to register an account at Metro FastBet may do so by accessing the Metro FastBet website at https://www.fbm.mmtci.com. Assisted registrations may also be extended to patrons by Metro FastBet account representatives. After successful registration, the patron is provided an eight-digit account number. He or she will use this account number every time he or she login to the Metro FastBet website either to place wagers or do some other transactions provided. Enumerated below are the steps to take for the normal, web-based registration; 1. 2. You will be logged in & taken to an Account Information screen showing your account number & personal info that you have supplied. Another email welcoming you to Metro FastBet will also be sent to you.

Be sure to remember your email address or account number and your PIN as these will be used for you to login. Never provide any of your Metro FastBet information to anybody whom you cannot trust, specially your account number, email address, PIN and security phrase, not even to MetroTurf Tellers or any of its employees. Only do so when you want to authorize someone to transact in your account on your behalf. Funding the Patrons Metro FastBet Account

Before the patron will be able to do actual wagering thru Metro FastBet, he or she will have to fund or tap up his or her account by depositing actual cash to his or her account. To do this, the patron or an authorized representative will go to any MetroTurf betting terminal and make the deposit thru the teller. The only account information that the teller needs to know is the account number and the amount to deposit. The depositor is advised to ask for a receipt to validate the deposit. The amount has been decided by MetroTurf management to be just enough to deter nuisance registrants or those whose intentions are of using the deposit other than wagering on MetroTurf and to avoid breaking government laws pertaining to financial deposits. There is no maintaining balance required to keep the account active, but needless to say, the account can be suspended or terminated upon MetroTurfs discretion on grounds of the account being dormant, inactive, or used in fraudulent activities. This deposit amount can then be used for the patrons wagering activities, the final balance, of which can become zero. The patron can no more wager on MetroTurfs races for any amount above of his account balance. MetroTurf is also working to provide the patron with more easy and convenient avenues to make a deposit to his or her account, specially those far from the racetrack or off-tracks, or those out of the country. Wagering / Betting
Metro FastBet is available to accept player bets every raceday at MetroTurf. The actual time availability is as soon as the race program for the days race event is inputted into the Totalisator system. The earliest time that this happens is on the evening before the raceday, when the declared horses shall have been raffled or the line up for each race has been finalized by the MetroTurf Handicapping group. To place a wager, the patron will login to his Metro FastBet account and access the Wagering Menu to place a wager. From there the patron is taken through different screens to place his or her bet; pool type, amount to bet, whether its a straight, box or wheel bet, and runner selections. The total amount of the wager is displayed and it will be deducted from the account balance when the bet is placed and accepted.

Ticket Cancellation Policy

Metro FastBet is currently configured not to allow cancellation of placed wagers/bets or issued tickets. However, MetroTurf would like to inform Games and Amusements Board (GAB) and industry stakeholders for possible limited/regulated ticket cancellations. These cancellation options are existing capabilities of our Totalisator and FastBet in order to safeguard bet manipulations as well as to give the betting public the best online wagering experience. Should GAB allow any of these options in the future, enumerated below are the available configurations, in any order and combination, which are readily applicable; 1. LIMIT TICKET CANCELLATIONS BASED ON TIME a. AFTER PLACING BET OR TICKET IS ISSUED This allows ticket cancellation after a pre-determined time after placing wager/bet or ticket is issued. For example if we set this to five (5) minutes, cancellation will not be allowed after five (5) minutes of placing the bet. b. BEFORE POST TIME OR MINUTES TO POST (MTP) This allows ticket cancellation on a pre-determined time before the race is posted as indicated in the race program. For example if we set this to five (5) minutes, and if race #1 is scheduled to post at 6:00PM, race cancellation will be allowed up to 5:55PM only for the bet pools made available in race #1.

2. AMOUNT CAPPING This restricts the maximum amount of bet where a ticket can be cancelled. For example if P5,000 is set, a ticket costing P5,001 cannot be cancelled. 3. LAST NUMBER OF TICKETS This restricts cancellation to only the last number of tickets wagered. For example if two (2) is set, only the last two (2) tickets wagered can be cancelled.

ODDS Display
The only noticeable difference of Metro FastBet from the standard / traditional betting is in the area of how the odds are displayed. In Metro FastBet, the horses odds are displayed based on the total amount of money in the win pool only, whereas the odds displayed in the racetrack and off-track monitors display odds for each pool. Pari-Mutuel wagering is a system where the betting public determines the odds / payoffs by the amount wagered on each winning combination in each wagering pool. The racetrack acts as a broker. A set percentage of the total wagers is withheld (commission) and taxes as set forth in the clubs legislative franchise. The remaining monies are distributed to the winning wagers. As wagers are placed, the Totalisator system or Tote cumulates all wagering data and calculates the winning payoff for each horse to win. In the case of the odds for Metro FastBet, the Tote takes into consideration the total amount of money in the win pool throughout the wagering network, the amount bet on each horse, and the amount of commission and taxes retained. The odds displays are updated with current data approximately every 45 seconds throughout the Tote system. When displaying odds, the payoff is rounded down to the nearest displayable permutation. Usually these are displayed as X-1, but at lower odds, X-5, or X-2 is displayed where applicable. Odds of 7-2 (or 3 1/2 -1) for example mean for every P2.00 bet, you would win at least P7.00. Add that P7.00 to your P2.00 bet and your winning payoff would be between P9.00 and P9.80. A payoff of P10.00 would display odds of 4-1. When the starter opens the starting gate to begin the race, a signal is sent via the tote system to all wagering outlets/terminals that the race is off. This closes and stops wagering on all pools in the race. All wagering outlets/terminals then transmit their final wagering monies to the Tote system. Once all wagering monies are received, the Tote does a final calculation and sends final odds to the displays. This usually takes about 30 to 45 seconds from the start of the race. There are safeguards in place to insure that all wagering outlets/terminals close their pools immediately upon receiving the message. When the stewards make the race official, the Tote then sends the actual payoffs to the odds displays for all pools.

Moving Around the Rest of Metro FastBet Screens

The Metro FastBet screens provide additional functionalities to facilitate a completely interactive, wholesome and enjoyable experience for the betting patron, aside from wagering and odds display previously mentioned. Below are the additional functions available to the betting patron. History here the patron can see his wagers and winnings if available for each race in the current race day. Winning wagers are highlighted with a special color for easy recognition. He can filter the display to either wagers, transactions, payoffs and pending information. This is useful when the patron has a lot of information to display for the particular raceday due to his number of activities, segregating the displayed information will make it more easy to understand considering the screen size of the mobile device that the patron maybe using. A daily summary of the patrons wagering activities is also available. Here the patron can cancel a wager if the race is still open. Account here the patron can view and/or change or modify his or her account information; name, email address, date of birth, contact number, address, etc. He or she can also change his or her PIN and security phrase. The account number is fixed, permanent and cannot be changed. Info here system information is displayed including the patrons device platform, browser name and version. This is specially useful when asking for support. The rest of the available functions as can be seen on the Home menu are help, contacts and logging out.

Cashing Out and Account Withdrawals

The currently available modes of cashing out winnings and/or withdrawing from the account is thru MetroTurf cashiers at the racetrack and its head office. But in case-to-case basis, MetroTurf may send out withdrawals by postal check or money order. If the withdrawal is to be made by a person other than the account holder, he must be duly authorized by the account holder and must be able to reply to and pass authentication and validation procedures before the withdrawal is approved. MetroTurf reserves the right to close or suspend your account at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the preceding sentence, MetroTurf shall be entitled to close or suspend your account if: (a) MetroTurf considers that you have used the Website in a fraudulent manner or for illegal and/or unlawful or improper purposes; (b) MetroTurf considers that you have used the Website in an unfair manner or have deliberately cheated or taken unfair advantage of MetroTurf or any of its customers. If MetroTurf closes or suspends your account for any of the reasons referred to in (a) and (b) above, you shall be liable for any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses incurred or suffered by MetroTurf arising therefrom and shall indemnify and hold MetroTurf harmless on demand for such Claims. C. DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS 1. You may only bet/wager with the amount of cleared funds held in your account. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MetroTurf, their parent and affiliates, their principals, suppliers and contractors and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs (including but not limited to attorneys' fees and court costs), arising from or relating to your breach of these terms and conditions. This indemnification shall survive the termination of your FastBet account.
