SOCIETIES IN OUR WORLD

But the thing you the person reading this wants to know is what are some natural resources? We consume so many in our lives like: Water, Vegetation, minerals and many other resources we consume in our daily lives. I forgot to tell you about some ways we use these natural resources didnt I? Cars, energy, Man made food and many other resources. Most of the things mentioned are needs but some of them are wants. There are many needs and wants in our society however they may be different in other societies in the world.

DISTRIBUTION OF OUR RESOURCES

Distribution of natural resources happens all the time, while your reading this text water is getting evaporated due to the wind, clouds and many other natural contributions to help our cycle of water running. There is also transportation like ship, plane, train and even cars to help the distribution of resources so theyre evenly spread across the globe however theyre not. 783 million people we share the planet with dont have reliable water to drink, and also we use for: Growing crops/food, washing/cleansing and other things we rely on water for. Youre probably thinking wow! Thats Australias population 33 and a half times!

RENEWABLE AND NON RENEWABLE RESOURCES

We all know that resources dont fall from the sky. Or do they? Well one of them does Water! But is it renewable? There are many open-ended opinions but that doesnt matter, because this is fact its renewable! Yes people youre looking at something I wrote and our precious water is said to be renewable. So what do you say if we share our water with Africa for instance? Do we have enough water to share with other countries? Will it impact us too much? They say water is an infinite resource but imagine if that changes and devastation takes over our planet. If every country uses the same amount of water as us, Australia, who knows what would happen? Would the world become isolated? World War III and counting?

DESALINATION IN MODERATION
However there is another option up for grabs. A water desalination plant. But there are pros and cons with this. First of all this water comes from the sea as we all know its salty. It cleans and takes out salt and bacteria in the water. Then the salt that gets taken out gets distributed into the air, which could be devastating in the near future.

RESPONSIBILITY OF OUR FINITE RESOURCES

We all have a big responsibility to distribute finite resources. Thats why our country supports foreign aid. Foreign aid takes initiative of poverty in countries of our world. Many finite resources arent being taken seriously like precious water. However people say water is an infinite resource. Imagine our world with a limited amount of water. Imagine all the chaos. Thats why we should take our water a lot more seriously and share this precious resource with countries without finite resources we consume in our daily lives. This life saving campaign only costs 37 cents for every $100 Australia earns, which will then make our world a better place to live.
