1.What are your goals for your 8th grade learning in Humanities? (I wish you all great expectations!) Please list at least one, but not more than three.

MY main goal is to improve on essay construction and writing.



2. What support will you need to reach those goals this year?

I will need more practice and some templates because they always help in getting to know how to do something better.



3. In what area (see categories below) do you feel the greatest sense of accomplishment thus far?

Understanding major themes and plot points in the short stories and applying reading skills to historical and critical thinking.



4. In what area (see categories below) do you feel you need to improve the most to become procient?

I think I need to improve on writing with proper grammar and punctuation.

Yes I can take the plot and characters and turn it into a summery without to much trouble.

Yes I am but I tend to be cautious when it comes to certain things, like in a horror movie I would be the one that said I told you so before the killer came out and killed me.

I am developing because you are always learning new vocabulary and new ways to use them, and I have a lot more grammar and vocabulary to learn and to use.

Yes, because we are reading a lot and encountering a lot of new good words.

No but I am trying

Maybe... I think sometimes I tend to ramble on but other times I can get it.

I have been working on it.

When assigned yes, but freely because I can no.

I have been trying to get into the habit of revising agents a ru draft.

I always try to make my work better then it can be.

I like to read out loud and I have lots of practice from reading to the kids I

baby sit so yes I hope so.

We haven't done any presentations this year.

Yes because last year bill taught us how to properly cite sources.
