Key aim is to let the readers know about the battles that go on between the media and the political parties. He tells you about instances where the candidates have snubbed the media and vice versa.

Strong point is in paragraph 8. It shows how big of a deal the beef between the politicians and media. Weak point is in paragraph 3. It really has no basis to the topic.
