Dear UKCBC Travel & Tourism Students, This document provides guidelines on how to write and structure your

assignment. Please read it carefully and follow the guidelines. 1. Writing your assignments Plan and write your assignments as early and you can. Do not leave your work for the very last moment. Read your assignment brief before starting any task. 2. Structure Divide your assignment into the following structure: abstract, introduction, main body and conclusion. In the abstract explain briefly the main aim and purpose of the task and introduce the reader to your work. In the main body present your case study, theoretical explanations and main arguments. In the conclusion, provide a brief summary of your work. 3. Punctuality Use Times New Roman 12, justified, 1.15 spaced. Use Bold and Italic for your title and headings and only Italic for your subheadings. Use page numbering and footer (see an example below). 4. Title Page Each task must have a title page which to include unit title, task title, picture, your name, batch, email and tutor name. An example is provided below. 5. References Use Harvard Style to reference your work. A guide to Harvard Style is available at: http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm#sthash.zmgDdl6l.dpuf 6. Submission You need to submit one hard copy to the drop box opposite the reception on the 12th floor and one soft copy on the e-learning. DO NOT submit anything before contacting your unit tutor.
