The V2 Rocket
Most V2s were launched at London. The V2 was a rocket developed by the Germans. It was the worlds first long range combat ballistic missile. Over 3, 000 V2s were launched. Only 68% of the launches were successful. However, the rocket was still devastating.

Ant- Air Missiles

Enzian- The enzian was a German infrared missile thats experimenting got cancelled before it was operational. Stinger- The stinger was a portable surfaceto- air (SAM) developed by the U.S. Wasserfall- The wasserfall was an antiaircraft missile that had the same layout as the V2 rocket that was near success until the experimenting got cancelled.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki

On August 6, 1945 the Enola Gay dropped the Little Boy, an atomic bomb, on Hiroshima. Three days later Bocks Car dropped the Fat Man on Nagasaki. A combined 240, 000 people were killed in the two bombings by America.
