His parents were married earlier this year. He also has a baby sister who was born earlier this year. There has been a lot of drama at home with spiders and safety, they moved into a new house over the weekend. Check with mum regarding any issues we should know about in Kaidens home life (e.g. the Red back Spider infestation at home really cause a spike in inappropriate behaviour last week). By giving Kaiden personal space I can see what he is doing and he is less tempted to touch others. Give both Kaiden and his mum feedback on behaviours at school on a daily basis. Discuss with Kaiden the importance of respecting other people and their property. Discuss how he would feel if his friends damaged or stole his belongings. Ask questions regarding why he did something, how he felt, how he thinks the person whose belongings he damaged/stole feels. Provide Kaiden with some tools to curb his inappropriate actions; STOP- before performing inappropriate actions stop and consider what am I about to do? THINK What should I do? How will people feel? DO Make an appropriate choice regarding actions.

Verbal reminders and discussions if inappropriate behaviours occur. Time out to think about and reflect on actions.

Observe Kaidens behaviour and interactions with other children. Record Kaidens responses to questioning. Give both Kaiden and his mum feedback on behaviours at school on a daily basis. Daily reflection regarding Kaidens behaviour.
