PROF. DR. Mohammed Elfayome Real time abdominal &pelvic US examination revealed: Liver: average size with bright and homogenous parenchymal echopattern , no focal lesions seen. No dilatation of the intra hepatic biliary or portal vein radicals. Portal vein diameter 11 mm ( normal up to 12 mm), Common bile duct : Average caliber. GB: Normal. Spleen: Normal ( 11 cm). No pancreatic or paraaortic masses seen. Kidneys: Both are of normal shape , size , Increased echogenicity with excess parenchymatous calcifications ,Bilateral backpressure changes markedly on the left side. Left kidney 104 X 55 mm. Right kidney 109 X 56 mm. No ascites. UB: The urinary bladder is of normal shape and size with no focal or diffuse masses seen.Two echogenic stones are seen the largest measures 14mm Prostate: The is of normal shape and size measuring 26 X 25 X 15 mm . Prostatic volume 5 cu cm.

Opinion:
Fatty liver . Bilateral parenchymatous renal disease (Grade I). Bilateral parenchymatous calcifications and backpressure changes more on the left side.PUT &IVU are highly recommended. Urinary bladder stones.
