FEEDING REGIMEN
To calculate a dogs calorie needs you take the weight (or ideal

weight) in kg raised to the power and multiply this value by 70


This gives you the RER or Resting Energy Requirements For weight loss there is no activity factor

Provides 370 kcals per cup 1.5 cups per day each will meet needs cup in the morning and cup at night

Until desired weight goal is met with the exception of THANKSGIVING day

This includes: carrots, mangoes, broccoli, celery, apples, lean string cheese,

green beans, etc., as well as reduced calorie biscuits


NO grapes, raisins, chocolate, and onions as they can be very toxic to dogs

FYI
A German study tried to answer that by questioning 60 owners of obese

dogs and 60 owners of slim dogs. They found that the human-animal bond was equivalent between the two groups, but that there were significant differences in how the owners interacted with their dogs. Here are some of what I think are the studys more relevant findings:
The owners of obese dogs were more likely to
rate exercise, work, or protection by their dogs as less important
