1. In the pool at the end of the semester, the student will swim the front crawl using proper arm rotation and breathing technique without taking a break or becoming distracted two widths of the pool.
2. During the swim lesson, the student will work together and encourage the other classmate by saying a phrase such as You can do it! when learning new tasks.

3. When learning directions, the student will listen carefully and repeat what was said when asked by the teacher as a check for understanding.

Unit: Swimming Theme: Outer Space Focus: Front crawl, Back stroke 1. At the end of class, the students will be able to swim the front crawl with the assistance of a noodle under their stomach across the width of the pool using proper arm rotation. Teacher observation and checklist

Equipment: 2 kick boards, two frogs, two noodles 2. At the beginning of class, the students will get in the pool with ease as soon as they are asked to do so by the instructor. Throughout class, students will be able to repeat back the cues to the instructor every time before swimming a width of the pool. 4. Throughout class, both students will be aware of their surroundings and will maintain a comfortable distance from the teacher in the pool.
