Am I understanding that the 691 Blackboard shell is the place that needs to be updated and that the info on Bboard contradicts what the 691 handbook is indicating is the process? Not being a LiveText expert nor having any view into the course shells, my question now is whether or not this is something that needs to be communicated more broadly in some way to advisors/CCCs/Students? My entire MA-ELA cohort is in the final stages of completing their programs so I want to be sure they have the correct information so appreciate any further direction you want to provide if I should be mentioning something to our students. Beth Beardsley shows up in Celias EDAU 691 course and the portfolio is loaded there. She should include her professional development plan in her EDAU 691 fieldwork portfolio I checked the shell and it looks like the instructions say to submit it in LiveText before submitting the portfolio (so that needs to be changed and I have contacted Marv to make those changes). It needs to be submitted as part of the portfolio.

The EDAU 691 portfolio is within a course and it should be open all term and even after the term since many people dont finish up within the 8 weeks. They might have to look under the previous terms listing if its been awhile. However, if theres an error I can check on it. What term and which instructor and student? Im not sure about the MA-ELA DOM since I believe they have to apply for that submission. Angela or Evelyn can probably clear that one up. Carla

Hello Dr. Piper, Dr. Theuer and Angela: Wonder if you can help me clarify something re: LiveText? Is it true that LiveText prohibits anyone from submitting their MA DOMs and credential portfolios until the last day of the session? I have a student trying to submit her MA-ELA DOM and her EDAU 691 Professional Development Plan through LiveText and I understand that is not possible until the session is over. Does it go live for submission on the very last day of the session? Earlier? Sorry if I missed this direction at some point in the past. Don
