Commercial Gages
Standard gages used to inspect radii or fillets

Screw Pitch Gage


Used to determine the pitch of a screw

To determine the pitch, place the gage on the threaded

portion Does not check thread size and will not give adequate thread form for precision parts

Plug Gage
Consists of a go end and a no-go or not-go end

Standard: American Gage Design (AGD)


2 parts: gaging member and a handle
