    Fiber optics is taking a vital role in todays world fo r secured data transmission and receiving between different networks.

    This project is mainly used for transmitting and receiving the data through fiber optic communication. Other communicating mediums like IR, RF and Ultrasonic are not supportive for high speed baud rates, but the fiber link supports high speed baud rates. Here the gas alert indication will be displayed in PC hyper terminal tool through fiber optic receiver. In Micro controller side the fiber optic Tx will l be equipped and also having gas sensor to monitor any gas leakage e is detected.
