Marshall, Justin Labella History 10/10/13 Monolouge Im a peasant and every morrow I wilt wake up at 3a.m. Then I wilt then make myself some breakfast. Then we would go out to the field and grow crops. Some of the crops we grew were grains, oats, rye, barley and wheat. The tools that they used were an axe, flail, harrow, hay making forks, moldboard, rakes shovels, scythe, shears, sickle, spade, wheeled plough, winnowing basket and a hoe. We peasants lived in a village and some of us made cottages that were built with wooden supports and a mixture of wattle and daub. I served noblemen and ladies alike and also controlled livestock and grew crops to serve in my cottage.

We peasants had games like hockey, soccer, wrestling, archery, badminton and ice skating. In winter our crops would fail, as winter was the hardest time for us. We are very important because we grow crops for my lord and I also grow crops for merchants to trade. Without trade we couldnt grow any other crops. Our job as peasants is very important for we feed everyone including knights, lords and the Monarch. If we werent here then nobody would have food. Our job as peasants is very hard but gratifying to know that if I work really hard I should live another day.
