1. Some students, teachers and parents might come into some problems when they use student portfolios for student led conferences because some projects that students do will be multimedia, for example videos, pictures, podcasts, presentations, etc and if you just use a student portfolio, it will be hard to show all of the different elements of your school work. You wont have that much variety. 2. By using electronic portfolios, we can address most of these problems because on the webpage, you can add documets that you would have in a normal portfolio and also you can include a lot of multimedia also. It is also more organised so that parents, teachers and students can navigate their way around the web page easily to see the students full potential and go through a lot more of their work. I think with this method of electronic portfolios, you can get a better understanding of the students learning and academic achievements. a. I am going to design and create a online portfolio that is easy to go through. And that is visually appealing. It must include all of my subjects with examples of my work that my parents and teachers can go through all of my work and see my progress made. b. I am making this project so that when I have to do student-led conferences with my parents, this will be a much easier alternative and I think that it will help me be more organised with what I shw them and be more selective and I will also be able to easily navigate my multimedia presentations c. My parents, my teachers and I will all benefit fromt this project because I am making the task of going through all of my academic work and progress easier for all of us.

I think this because with the portfolio, people can see how you really learn and all about your learning skills. They can see how you have progressed through your work and they can see how strong you are with certain academic skills. Approaches to learning describes the online portfolio project in the best way.
