Identification of Missing Objects With Group Coding of RF tags

Abstract
RFID, radio frequency identification, is an automatic identification technology which is composed of RF tags, interrogator and associated information system. This paper proposes a method to determine the unique IDs of objects missing from a group without any external database or verifier. It is done by writing data to each RF tags memory and comparing the RFID tag values with already stored database and checks for the matching and mismatching tags.

Existing System:
In existing system the object identification is done by checking or scanning the object with its object code or bar-code, which is cost expensive. And this kind of scanning of object is done slow manner. Hence we go for a new system.

Proposed System:
In this system the object identification and intimation is done by using RFID technology. For that the scanning section consists of RFID reader, ARM processor, alarm, LCD and PC for reading the RFID tag value from the tag. The obtained data is compared with the database and identifies the missing tag and an equivalent serial value will be given to the controller. And the controller in turn displays the matching or mismatching object code in LCD and produces an alarm.

Software requirement:
Keil Compiler Embedded C VB.NET

Advantage:
Highly reliable Missing objects can be easily found out. Objects without tags are prohibited, which is a security purpose.

Applications:
It can be used during loading and unloading of sea-foods in shipping purpose. It can also used for military purpose.
