To advance the discipline internally and externally to the University, to engage academe with practice and to provide academic leadership to colleagues and students. The role entails the design, delivery supervision and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision; 14,000 - 16,500 the soliciting, execution and dissemination of research nationally and internationally; the provision of advice, support and encouragement to colleagues and students and a contribution to the strategic management of the School and as required, the University. For AP, to lead and develop nationally recognised research areas, and to contribute to the research income and profile of the School and the University as well as delivering teaching and assesment to a high standard; supporting the administrative processes of the school and Faculty. For SUTF, to provide leadership for the teaching programme of the School, including the design, delivery, supervision and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching; to provide leadership in key areas of school and faculty activity and to contribute to research activity within the school.
