I currently am a senior at Kent State University where I am pursuing a dual degree in Global Communication and Criminology and Justice Studies, while also minoring in Political Science. I wish to intern in the Human Trafficking and Child Protection Division, Violent Crime Division, or the Drug Division. As a student at Kent State University, I have held myself to a high standard of academic success, philanthropic measures, and community involvement. I have held multiple leadership positions that have prepared me for a team environment, while also developing a stronger sense of drive. As a global communication student, I have a resilient focus on global interactions and services rather than domesticated relations. I have gained experience through international travel and study abroad experiences to heighten my understanding of other cultures. Through my course work, I was developed knowledge of topics ranging from Police and Society to Intercultural communication. I have also completed one semester of Arabic and two semesters of Italian to further develop my dedication to global studies. I have always had a constant strive to not only better our country, but also the world, especially in the fight to deter human trafficking and to strengthen the protection of children. My work ethic and educational background has prepared me to pursue experience in an organization that has a focus point of underdeveloped communities and mistreated resources.
