Summary of Implementation:
Website resources are adaptable and engaging tools that provide effective learning for any classroom. From researching various forms of online tools available for Elementary level students, I found many websites that would allow student to learn beyond the textbook. Out of the seventeen websites that I established as effective in terms of lessons for Elementary students, the two that stood out among the rest and that I would use in my future lessons are the Starfall Reading and Language Arts interactive website and the Tutpup Math website. Each of these Website learning tools provides enhanced learning material for Elementary level students. The Starfall Reading and Language Arts interactive website is easy to work through and provides different levels of activities for the students who may be at different levels in their reading. I would plan to use this resource weekly and connect it to various reading lessons such as phonics, variations of stories and also my personal favorite on the website, interactive reading lessons that coincide with holidays throughout the year. On Fridays, after a week full of lessons, students will be allowed forty-five minutes to use the site working at the level
appropriate to their own. Students will be able to learn more about each lesson I teach from this website, and also have fun doing so. The Tutpup interactive Math web tool is another resource I plan to use to allow students to review their math in connection to my lessons, but be able to also interact with students their age from across the world also using the Tutpup website. Students will have the option of which area in math they wish to review from addition and subtraction to multiplication and division. For this site, I will also allow students to use it one day a week for thirty to forty-five minutes. With both the Starfall website and the Tutpup website, students will record their progress through the various levels on each site weekly by writing a paragraph on what they learned or reviewed after using the interactive activities. After reviewing the Tutpup and Starfall websites, I have decided these are two extraordinary resources that students will benefit from using in my future classrooms.
