Habit #6- Synergize- I value other peoples strengths and learn from them.

I seek out other peoples ideas because I know that by teaming with others we can create better solutions than anyone of us can alone. 1st grade Lesson: cooperation Time: 20 minutes Materials: A Chair For My Mother by Vera B. Williams Puzzle pieces (out of different color construction paper) Lesson: Review Habit 6- synergize Read A Chair For My Mother Discuss teamwork and cooperation Split the class into teams by giving them different pieces of the puzzle pieces. Students are on teams based off the color puzzle piece they have. Observe the teamwork you see around the room as teams try to build their puzzle Discuss which teams had good teamwork and what things you saw that would help other teams increase their teamwork.
