Reflection - Critical Thinking/Reading - Connection

I chose this entry because we used this assignment to discuss the connections between a love letter to a person and one to an inanimate object. In class, we discussed what we did to make the love letter work. We used personification and satire. We wrote the letter as if the object was actually a person. Also, multiple people in class read their letters out loud and we discussed what they all had in common. Even though we all wrote individually and to different objects, all the letters had similar structure, format, language, etc.
