School aged children spend 70% outside of school. The most effective forms of parent involvement are those that engage parents in working directly with their children on learning activities at home. When parents are involved

Students have higher grades Better school attendance Increased motivation to learn Parents, who read to their children, have books available, and provide stimulating experiences contribute to student achievement.

Communicating home and having family relationships

Language translators to assist as needed. Regular schedule of notices, phone calls and newsletters. Allow a lot of opportunities for parents to volunteer in classroom or school events. Give positive feedback more than negative.
