17 October 2013 Multi-Genre Project What I know: I've written in many different genres before.

ore. I've had to pick an ad and expand on it as a project for school. I've seen hundreds of thousands of ads before. I'm familiar with different genres.

What I need to know: I've never written about an ad before. I've never had to write in multiple genres for a single assignment before. I've never had to do an assignment that has to do with the message of an ad and how the message is communicated. I've never had to do a rhetorical analysis before.

Restrictions: The message of the ad must remain the same in all revisions and genres. The three genres must come from different categories. Must have three separate pieces. Must use the same ad/commercial for this assignment and the next one.

Choices: Ad/commercial to use Genres to use Tone and structure of each piece Can combine more than one genre into one piece (though I still have to turn in three separate pieces)
