Indian/Pakistani Restaurants in Little Rock

The United States of America is the country of Immigrant with so many different culture. One of the key element is food that rings !eo!le of different culture together in social settings. So far I see !eo!le in Little Rock dine in mostly at Italian" #e$ican" %hinese" American or &reek Restaurants so on. 'ood identifies each culture and I am originally from Pakistan and I would like to ring issue that there are only few Indo(Pak Restaurants in Little Rock and mostly they are located on same street. Peo!le hardly know a out Indo(Pak culture and their food and I elie)e that they are missing world*s most aromatic fla)or cuisine in their li)es.

As you can see in my ma! that there are two restaurants located on the same Shackleford street" %urry in a +urry and Ta, #ahal. Star of India is ,ust a few miles away on #arkham street and Taste of India is located at -orth Little Rock city" which is a out more than ./ miles away from Little Rock city. 'rom my residence 0Old S!anish Trail1 to 0Star of India1" you don*t see any other Indian restaurant. #arkham is the main street in west Little Rock and also a cosmo!olitan area. 2ou will find all ma,or usinesses" schools" #alls and sho!!ing centers on #arkham street. In my o!inion there is a need for more than one Indo/Pak Restaurant on this street. Other most !o!ular streets are also lack of international fla)ors like %antrell" -orth Uni)ersity A)enue" South Uni)ersity A)enue" 3roadway 4own Town and %henal are some !otential areas for international restaurants s!ecially Indo/Pak. If my family wants to go out for dinner at Taste of Indian" it takes 5/ minutes of ride and a out 67/ of gas to reach there. Similarly we ha)e so many Asian Students at UALR" who are tired of eating at cam!us cafeteria" for them" it will take 5/ to 89 minutes to get there.

In ./7." Little Rock had its largest !o!ulation e)er and 98: of similarly si;ed cities are growing faster since ./// <Arkansas Po!ulation +istory 7=//(./7.> . ?)eryone has there usy schedule these days and !eo!le like to dine in and ski! the hassle of cooking. If they find restaurants near their residential areas" it would e con)enient for them to go without e$tra e$!enditures. S!ecially college students who do not !ossess )ehicle" can ha)e easy access to these international cuisines .

The #iddle ?astern diet is rich in flat reads" legumes" whole grains" lam " rice" sesame !aste" cumin" yogurt" egg!lant and her s such as !arsley and mint. Ranging from sit(down restaurants to modest food stalls" Little Rock has a few o!tions for #iddle ?astern food <USA Today>. If there are more Indian and Pakistani Restaurants scattered in Little Rock" !eo!le would go and a)ail the o!!ortunity of delicious foods which they ha)e ne)er tasted efore. Also for health !ur!ose" most Indian and Pakistani %uisine are cooked with her al s!ices which include cinnamon" clo)es"ginger" garlic"turmeric" coriander" cumin" cardamon" !a!rika" saffron and tamarind. These s!ices not only add fla)or to your food ut they !ossess immense health enefits.

Indian food is the world@s most ancient cuisine" uniAue in its remarka le use of s!ices <India 'ood and %ooking> and these days !eo!le of all ages s!ecially college/uni)ersity student get ore easily for their daily routine ha it of eating same food. There are !lenty of free s!aces in Little Rock which can e utili;e and ring more international attractions s!ecially Indian/Pakistani Restaurants. Or they can uild small sho!s for gra ing to go Indian foods. Their a!!eti;ers are really mouth watering. Restaurants like this ring more con)enience for all students and families to en,oy these food on game nights instead of eating nachos or wings e)ery time.

The Indian and Pakistani !o!ulation is tremendously increasing in Little Rock and they are also missing their cultural food. Like I ha)e to tra)el all the way to 4allas" %hicago" +ouston and other ig cities once or twice a year to eat fantastic delicious food of my country. And y doing this" it costs so much of gas money and other e$tra e$!enditures. I lo)e li)ing in Little Rock and like I said if more restaurants like these uild here" there will e no need to go out of town and waste e$tra gas money ut to en,oy our own city with all facility it !ro)ides.

The scenic eauty of The -atural %ity a!!eals to tra)elers from all o)er the country. As a result" tourism is a ma,or factor in the city*s economy and !o!ular )isitor destinations include Parks" Bater theme !arks" #useums and they don*t want to miss the %linton Presidential Li rary and %rystal 3ridges #useum of American Art which is at President %linton A)enue close to down town<Arkansas The -atural State>. Bhile )isiting these attractions" they would also lo)e to taste different )arieties of food. 3ut unfortunately tourist only find Bendy*s" Taco ell" 3urger Cing or #ac4onald and won*t find any authentic Asian cuisine near y.

There are !lenty of leasing s!ace a)aila le for restaurants usinesses near all these eautiful attractions and !o!ular streets as I ha)e mentioned a o)e. This is" I !ro!ose to fulfill the need of Indian/Pakistani Restaurants" so !eo!le can come and en,oy their )isits to the fullest as well as it will also eneficial to all of us.
