Philosophy of Education My philosophy is that the goal of education is to help students acquire and transfer knowledge, skills and

motivation into real society across their lifetime, facilitate students moral development and stimulate their potential. Personally, I embrace that a positive teacher student relationship, appropriate interactions with students families and communities, and a dynamic and comple! student centered learning environment provided by teachers are critical factors in achieving this goal. "rom my perspective, a positive teacher student relationship is successful when the teacher is not only a teacher who passes knowledge and skills on to students, but also a genuine friend. It is a relationship based on mutual trust, respect, understanding and care# a relationship in which both sides feel comfortable, motivated and inspired. I think this type of relationship can play a significant role both in activating student interests and stimulating both students and teachers enthusiasm. Moreover, it is of great benefit in creating a moral atmosphere in my classroom, which facilitates students moral development. $owever, I believe this relationship is hard to obtain. It needs both the teachers time and efforts to attain. In order to gain a positive teacher student relationship, I would first be aware of the fact that students are equal people who %ust learn something later than me. &hey have their own strengths and can definitely go beyond me in many areas. I should respect my students and treat them equally. Meanwhile, I also need to point out their role as students who need to see me as an authority and I deserve their trust and respect. 'econd, I should be committed to my students, helping them achieve in academics and motivating them to have higher

pursuits. Meanwhile, I should also be a sincere friend who listens to them, takes care of their emotions and views things from their standpoints. In addition to a positive teacher student relationship, a teachers appropriate interaction with students families and communities is another important aspect which contributes to the achievement of my educational goal. I think by interviewing students families and engaging with their communities, teachers will acquire more information about knowledge that students families and communities have in different areas which could become the basis for teaching, at the same time, helping teachers understand and %udge students behaviors more knowingly. )dditionally, it builds necessary connections between parents and schools. &he third crucial factor in attaining my education goal is a dynamic and comple! student centered learning environment.
