Reflection Lesson 3
In Tuesday at the last week of teaching practice I taught grade four new lesson on the Microsoft Word, I aimed to improve students skills in the Microsoft word. And the objective of the lesson were let students be able to inserting, deleting tables, adding text in table and changing the design of the table. In this lesson I focused in my communication skills with students, clear instruction and body language especially in my Eye contact. According to Gower, Phillips, & Walter, eye contact important, because its the way that help teacher to contact with her students, communicate and make the relationship between teacher and students (Gower, Phillips, & Walter, 2005, p.8). I started the lesson by gave students the students label names, and remind them how they will used it. Additionally, I retell the classroom rules to let students remember the suitable behavior that they must use in the classroom. At the beginning of the lesson, I asked students different question about program that they learnt, and how they use it. After that,I engaged students by activity, I asked students to work in their group, I divided different pictures and word about the new icons in different area in the classroom. And then, I asked one girl in each group to find one paper and stick it in the board. This activity encouraged students to be active and all students participated to help the girl to find the paper and be the owner. The projector stay didnt work, so started the explanation by presented pictures for the new tools that students will learnt, to be familiar with it, I moved around the class, to ensure all of students saw it. Later, I asked students to open the Microsoft Word and picture and different sentence about UAE to be busy with it while I explained for the first group. And I asked the group who I finished the explanation with them to work in pairs and practice what they learn, and helps each other. After I explained the lesson for each group, I divided the worksheet that contains the explanation steps and the quiz. I asked each student to work in their computer, and I moved around them to marking their sheet and gave them grade. At the end of the lesson, I reflected with students what they learnt, and how they will use this program in other subject. I taught this lesson for students without MST, because she has meeting, and I took the class to do not waste the class for students. In the fourth class, I repeated the lesson and it was observed by MST. After the class, I discussed with the MST and she gave me feedback that will help me in the next lesson. The positive things that I did in the class I has good classroom management. In addition, suitable worming up and it was in the students level and I made them active. Finally, I used a cooperative learning. However, I have to use variety of reinforcement strategies. Besides, I have to used software programs to design test.

In this lesson, I learned how it was important to move around the class, and be near from the students, especially how started misbehave, to show them that I round them and I can see what they did.
