Chris McLarens criticism: I would enjoy a little more information on why alkaline water has been so successfully advertised. What you have as a counterargument is fantastic, but I would like to have more counterarguments to be included. Work a little more on making sure to include the introduction of the authors you cited from. Overall you wrote a great paper and I agree with you! Alkaline water is not really beneficial to the human body despite all of the advertisement out there about it.
