Adam Edwards Lesson Plan #4 Inquiry Gas Laws Analysis of Student Products This was my best lesson yet.

I was so explicit with instruction and assessment that it really was hard for me to tell which student products were better than another. My MT gave me advice about giving students more time to think and talk and answer questions. So I improved my instruction after the firsts session to allow more time for students to express their understanding. This was a good idea because students were engaged from bell to bell. My instruction was evidenced in their products. They included most everything that I asked of them in their assessment. Some students did not draw particles, but they drew arrows that would represent particles and pressure and direction of volume. Some students presented a much more professional looking report, while others still need work on presentation such as labeling parts. The student products that I included are in order from best to close to best. The last two may have been more modeling my work on the board rather than independent work on their own. Overall, I am very please with their work
