World History Final Option #1 1. Choose 3 historical figures you would like to have dinner with. The need to be legitimate historical figures. All figures must be chosen from 1899 or before. In addition, this class is WORLD history. Try to choose figures from outside of the United States. Finally. These figures need to have historical significance. Not cultural significance. Do NOT choose celebrities!!! A. B. C. 2. We will go to the computer lab where you will gather biographical information on each person 3. You will need to figure out a menu based on what you think your guests would like to eat. 4. You will need to come up with 10 interview questions you would like to ask each person, along with figuring out what their response would be.

Outline for Your Papers: I. Historical figure #1 A. Biographical information (10 facts)-You need to cite your information. Make sure that you dont just vomit Wikipedia into this paper. Yes, you may use Wikipedia, but synthesize the information. Dont just copy and paste!!!!!!!!!!!!! B. Why did you pick this person? (3 reasons) C. Q & A (10 questions, 10 DETAILED answers) ***Repeat this for the other two historical figures*** II. Historical Figure #2 III. Historical figure #3 IV. Dinner A. What would you serve? COMPLETE menu soup/salad, main course, dessert, drinks

*****Your papers will be due on Wednesday, December 18th at 2:15 p.m. We will be in the lab next week. You will submit your papers via email to kfairfield@winchester.k12.il.us. Make sure that by Monday you have your MAP information. If you turn in your final beforehand, you do not need to show up during our final time period. But if you need that time to work, I will be here Grading: 1. For every section that is missing, you grade will automatically be deducted by one letter. 2. For every spelling/major grammatical error, I will deduct 5 points. It is SO IMPORTANT to proofread your essays!!!!!
