    Xis an Indian-American businessman and venture capitalist.

    X was one of the co-f ounders of Sun Microsystems, and served as its first CEO and Chairman in the ear ly 1980s. In 1986, he became a general partner of the venture capital firm Klein er Perkins Caufield & Byers, where he remained through the early 2000s. In 2004 X formed his own firm, X Ventures, which focused on venture investments in vario us technology sectors, most notably clean technology.His net worth today is 1.5 billion $.
