Cheryl, Both of your graphs have good ideas, but need revisions before they can be used. This line graph is a great way to display the progression of Academic Progress Rate (APR) over time, but the years on the x-axis should start from earliest, and go forward in time. This graph makes it seems the APR for womens volleyball is in decline, when the score has actually been increasing.

While this bar graph covers all womens sports at the college, it is too confusing and cluttered to be used effectively. The key should be simplified by using the actual sport names to represent each color, and by taking the W or Womens in front of them, since the title already infers this.
