TECHNOLOGY PROJECT PLANNING SHEET Description of project: This project will consist on creating a class webpage using a web creation site for teachers called: TeacherWebs. In this class webpage will be specifically designed for a particular level of Spanish Subject for as well as for a particular grade level. It will include sections such as: -Announcements: Section designated for important notifications for students and parents. - Homework: Includes the description of tasks and material to be used for assignments students need to complete daily of weekly. - Class calendar: Important dates, due dates, events, holydays, celebrations, birthdays, etc. - Links: Wen sites in which students will have to work on or use for assignments. - Supply list: Materials students need to get for a specific class topic or project. - Classroom schedule: Class hours - FAQ: Questions students or parents may have in regard to a specific assignment or the class in general. - About the teacher: Description of the teacher`s profile. - Email: Section to send emails directly to the teacher of the class in case of consultations from either students or parents. What technology will you use? A tool to create a class website: TeacherWebs. This is a site to create personal web pages. What is the purpose of the end product you will create? The main purpose is to engage students in their daily labors by using an innovative tool to keep track of their responsibilities and learning process. With this product students will self-monitor their duties without having the teacher telling them in class all the different instructions. This will also become convenient for students who for some reason missed a class or missed information during class. Parents will be also able to stay connected and be aware of what is going on in class and know details about students` responsibilities. Intended audience: High School students of an Specific level of Spanish

Students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts, systems, and operations. Students: a. b. c. d. Understand and use technology systems. NETS-T STANDARD 1: Facilitate and Inspire Students Learning and Creativity. Teachers use their knowledge of subject matter, teaching and learning, and technology to facilitate experiences that advance student learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments. Teachers: a. Promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness.

Promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students` conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes. d. Model collaborative knowledge construction by engaging in learning with students, colleagues and others in face-to-face and virtual environments.

NETS-T STANDARD 3: Model Digital-Age Work and Learning Teachers exhibit knowledge, skills, and work processes representative of an innovative professional on a global and digital society. Teachers: a. Demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations. b. Collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support students success and innovation. c. Communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital-age media and formats. d. Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning (Lever-Duffy & MacDonald, 2008).

Project timeline and learning sequence: Since this is a free trial product. This project will be available for use during the period of thirty days from the date of its creation. Once those thirty days expire, in order to continue using the product it will be necessary pay a fee for the TeacherWeb site which is $39 per year.
