Sauce Teriyaki:

Ingredients: 100 mL Water 80 mL Soy Sauce 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar (or lemon juice) 20g Brown Sugar 2 Garlic Cloves, minced 1 Tablespoon Grated Ginger

Directions: In a Medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, grated ginger and garlic until sugar is dissolved. Set aside. A) Without meat: Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, and let it reduce for another 3-5 minutes. B) With chicken: Season the chicken. Cook it in a pan until golden brown, flip it over, cook for 30 secs. Pour the teriyaki sauce over and simmer for 3 minutes. Check chicken for doneness and transfer to a plate. To finish the sauce heat it for another 5 minutes to reduce and thicken it. C) With Beef: Season the beef. Cook it in a pan for 90 seconds, flip it over, cook it for 30 seconds. Pour the teriyaki sauc over and simmer until the beef is done. Transfer the beef to a plate and heat the sauce for another 5-6 miutes to reduce and thicken it.
