In December 2006, RHI Group and Clasil Refractories Ltd. established the Joint Venture Company RHI Clasil Ltd. Main products: high alumina and fireclay bricks as well as conventional and low and ultra low cement castables.

Clasil Refractories Ltd. has currently commissioned a refractories plant in Venkatapuram in the province Andhra Pradesh. The site has an excellent logistic location approx. 50 km south west of Vishakhapatnam, the largest east Indian harbor. It is optimally positioned strategically with a view to the growing steel and cement industries in India and possible exports to the Middle East and Asia.
