New Proposals for Entrepreneurs

BABY NIPPLE
Silicon rubbers have been produced commercially for above 25 years, the first patent being applied for in 1944. Their high cost of manufacture, the initial difficulty of achieving good physical properties, and the need for, special techniques were probably responsible for their technical and commercial development being, for the rubber industry on unorthodox lines. The producers did not offer the raw polymers to the rubber processor to compound himself, but rather formulated, and supplied ready - mixed materials requiring only forming, by one of the usual processes, and vulcanizing. Subsequently, a few gums were made available and over the years, some of the special technology required to be applied to them has disclosed. Silicons rubbers constitute are of the newest classes of rubber like polymers. These exhibit unique physical and chemical properties. Chemically they are specially prepared polymers of purified dimethyl siloxane in which the reaction is controlled to give linear chains of several thousand units. The unique properties of silicone polymers are particially explained by the fact that bond energy of silicone oxygen linkage is about 1.5 times as strong as the C - C linkage in hydrocarbon polymers. Although the polymer is saturated it can be vulvanised by heating with a source of free radicals such as benzyol peroxde. The outstanding characteristics of silicon rubbers is their very broad useful temperature range (from - 100 to + 500oF). In this range flexibility resilience, and tensile strength are retained to an amaging degree. Cost Estimation Plant Capacity 12500 Nos./Day Land & Building (Area 500 sq.mt.) EMPTY HARD GELATINE CAPSULES
Gelatin capsule was first invented in 1834 by Mothes, a French pharmacy student in collaboration with a French pharmacist Dublanc. They used one piece olive shaped structures which had to be sealed after filling with a drop of concentrated gelatin solution and were counterparts of the modern day soft gelatin capsules. The inventors used the capsules to mask the tastes of obnoxious materials. Mothes first sold empty shells but later supplied only filled ones. As such other inventors tried to appear on the scene to overcome the patent of Mothes. Lehuby in 1846 invented a two piece structure which was identical with the present day hard gelatin capsules. LECITHIN (SOYA BASED)

COMPARISON BETWEEN FLY ASH AND Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) BRICKS

Lecithin is the popular and commercial name for a naturally occurring mixture of phosphatides (also called phospholipids or, more recently by biochemists, phosphoglycerides), which varies in color from light tan to dark reddish brown and in consistency from a fluid to a plastic solid. Lecithin is the gummy material contained in crude vegetable oils and removed by degumming. Soybeans are by far the most important source of commercial lecithin and lecithin is the most important by-product of the soy oil processing industry because of its many applications in foods and industrial products. The three main phosphatides in this complex mixture called commercial soy lecithin are phosphatidyl choline (also called pure or chemical lecithin to distinguish it from the natural mixture), phosphatidyl ethanolamine (popularly called cephalin), and phosphatidyl inositols (also called inositol phosphatides). Commercial soy lecithin also typically contains roughly 30-35% unrefined soy oil. Price Rs. 15900/- Only or US$ 400/Cost Estimation Plant Capacity 5 Ton./Day Land & Building (Area 5000 sq.mt.) Fly ash, also known as flue-ash, is one of the residues generated in combustion, and comprises the fine particles that rise with the flue gases. Ash which does not rise is termed bottom ash. In an industrial context, fly ash usually refers to ash produced during combustion of coal. Fly ash is generally captured by electrostatic precipitators or other particle filtration equipment before the flue gases reach the chimneys of coalfired power plants, and together with bottom ash removed from the bottom of the furnace is in this case jointly known as coal ash. GALVANISED IRON SHEETS
Galvanizing is dipping in molten bath of zinc for adhersive coating on ferrous metals. The clean & dry article is dipped in a bath of molten virgin spelter containing 98% zinc covered with sai-ammoniac, zinc melting at 420oC. The process required that the sheets are in a moderate state of cleanness i.e. that all excess oil & grease is removed and any oxide or scale which is not eliminated with light acid pickling must be removed by blasting or some other method. On removal of the sheets from pickling tank after the required time, which will depend on the degree of corrosion scale or oxide which is present, the parts are whashed in cold running water. It is vitally important that the sheets are thoroughly dried to remove all the last traces of moisture prior to entering the molten zinc. As the galvanizing process is carried out at temp about 450oC, an moisture which enters the molten zinc will immediately be converted to steam with explosive results, which are highly dengerous as the molten zinc is ejected from the bath. Cardanol oil, a renewable raw material well known by product of the cashew industry, has been used as the starting material for the synthesis of novel fulleropyrrolidines cardanol based. In this work, cardanol has been used as building block for the preparation of target cardanol based precursors obtained by the way of the convenient transformation of the functional groups (aromatic ring, -OH group or the double bonds of the side chain) of the cardanolic structure. Pure 3-n-pentadecylphenol and its derivatives having homogeneous chemical composition, used as the precursor of any fulleropyrrolidines, have been prepared by hydrogenation of the un-saturated side chain and subsequent alkylation of the aromatic ring of

Today, more PVC Pipes are being used than any other pipe product. PVC is a thermosetting plastic. In other words, it can only be softened and molded into form once. If it is softened and remolded a second time it will lose some of its favorable characteristics. Recently, Fuseable PVC has come to market to compete with the fuseable properties of HDPE Pipe. PVC is very corrosion resistant. It is not a conductor and will not have an electrochemical reaction with acids and bases that it comes in contact with. RADIATOR COOLANT
Engine Coolant is a mixture of various types of glycols and highly formulates & researched various corrosive inhibitors. De-mineralized water is mixed with the coolant as per suggestion and used in the engine-radiator cooling system to remove excess heat of engine. The purpose of Coolant is to remove excess heat produced from the engine operation, to control corrosion and scaling, antifreeze and boil over the radiator water. So many years ago water was used to reduce the temperature. Water is an effective heat transfer fluid but it boils at very low temperature., highly corrosive and format scaling. It impure the cooling liquid by accumulating corrosive and scaled waste. So it chocks up tubes of radiator and finally engine overheats. Coolants industry need scientifically advance research lab. STEEL BRIGHT BARS

Confectionery or sweetmeats are preserved edible delicacies consisting of a solid or crystalline phase and a liquid or non-crystalline phase the relative proportion of which determine the type of confectionery. The principal types of confectionery are hand boiled goods, caramel and toffee, ratin goods, comfits or draggees, and lozenges. Sugar is the principal ingredient of confectionery. There are about 50 important confectionery factories in the country. Mainly in U.P. Bihar, Mumbai, Punjab, and Bengal. In addition , a large number of small concerns are producing sugar confectionery with indigenous equipments. It is difficult to estimate the total output of the sugar confectionery manufactured in the country as a large proportion of its produced by small concerns. It was, however, estimated that in the early fifties, the out but of confectionery was about 12,000MT. which is now approaching to about a lac ton. Individual Quick Freezing (I.Q.F.) is the latest technology available in freezing and with the advent of the same, it is now possible to preserve and store raw fruit and vegetables in the same farm-fresh condition for more than a year, with the color, flavor and texture of produce remaining as good as fresh from the farm.In IQF, each piece is frozen individually using technique of fluidization resulting in freezing of fruit and vegetables only in 10 to 12 minutes which otherwise takes at least 3 to 4 hours or even more in the blast freezer. The important feature of this process is ultra-rapid freezing to very low temperatures (-300C to - 400C) designed to halt the activities of the microorganisms that cause decay and deteriorate foodstuffs. This results into better texture and there is no lump/ block formation and the product is free flowing. TMT STEEL BARS (SARIYA)
Thermo mechanically treated (TMT) steel, can be described as a new-generation-high-strength steel having superior properties such as weldability, strength, ductility and tensility, which meet the highest international quality standards. Under thermo mechanical treatment (TMT), the steel bars are passed through a specially designed water-cooling system where they are kept till the outer surface of the bars becomes colder while the core remains hot. This creates a temperature gradient in the bars. When the bars are taken out of the cooling system, the heat flows from the core to the outer surface, further tempering of the bars, which helps them attain a higher yield strength. The resulting heat-treated structure imparts superior strength and toughness to the bars. The microstructure of the core is a very fine-grained ferrite and pearlite. TMT bars are also known as quenched and tempered rebars, because of the quenching and tempering processes involved in making the bars. The production of quality TMT bar depends on three major factors - quality raw materials, a properly designed and automated mill, and a well-designed quenching and tempering technology. All rebars must be purchased based on the properties of yield strength, tensile strength and elongation values. Deciding the percentage of carbon content in steel has been a major challenge for engineers. While a minimum level of carbon content in steel is essential to achieve the required strength, excess carbon threatens its weldability. In TMT bars, this problem has been eliminated by restricting the carbon content to 0.2 per cent to attain weldability and ensuring that its strength is not lost. The cost is finally borne by the consumer. Though the government claims that this is being done to protect the domestic liquor industry, the domestic industry accounts for 99% of the market share. This protectionist policy could prove to be counterproductive and lead to smuggling. As of now, only 45% of the sales are through legal channels and only 25% of this is duty paid for. The Alcohol industry is very important for the government. It generates an estimated Rs. 16,000 crore per annum in spite of the fact that the per capita consumption of liquor in India is the lowest in the world. The total liquor industry is worth Rs. 2,000 crore. IMFL accounts for only a third of the total liquor consumption in India. Most IMFLs are cheap and are priced below Rs. 200 per bottle. Alcohol sales proceeds account for 45% of the total revenue collection in the country. Whiskey accounts for 60% of the liquor sales while rum; brandy any vodka account for 17% 18% and 6% respectively. MNCs share is only 10% and they have been successful only in the premium and super premium ranges. Post WTO the government may have opened India to

Controlled atmosphere storage is a system for holding produce in an atmosphere that differs substantially from normal air in respect to CO 2 and O2 levels. Controlled atmosphere storage refers to the constant monitoring and adjustment of the CO2 and O2 levels within gas tight stores or containers. The gas mixture will constantly change due to metabolic activity of the respiring fruits and vegetables in the store and leakage of gases through doors and walls. The gases are therefore measured periodically and adjusted to the predetermined level by the introduction of fresh air or nitrogen or passing the store atmosphere through a chemical to remove CO2. There are different types of controlled atmosphere storage depending mainly on the method or degree of control of the gases. Some researchers prefer to use the terms static controlled atmosphere storage and flushed controlled atmosphere storage to define the two most commonly used systems.
