COMPARISON BETWEEN FLY ASH AND Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) BRICKS
Lecithin is the popular and commercial name for a naturally occurring mixture of phosphatides (also called phospholipids or, more recently by biochemists, phosphoglycerides), which varies in color from light tan to dark reddish brown and in consistency from a fluid to a plastic solid. Lecithin is the gummy material contained in crude vegetable oils and removed by degumming. Soybeans are by far the most important source of commercial lecithin and lecithin is the most important by-product of the soy oil processing industry because of its many applications in foods and industrial products. The three main phosphatides in this complex mixture called commercial soy lecithin are phosphatidyl choline (also called pure or chemical lecithin to distinguish it from the natural mixture), phosphatidyl ethanolamine (popularly called cephalin), and phosphatidyl inositols (also called inositol phosphatides). Commercial soy lecithin also typically contains roughly 30-35% unrefined soy oil. Price Rs. 15900/- Only or US$ 400/Cost Estimation Plant Capacity 5 Ton./Day Land & Building (Area 5000 sq.mt.) Fly ash, also known as flue-ash, is one of the residues generated in combustion, and comprises the fine particles that rise with the flue gases. Ash which does not rise is termed bottom ash. In an industrial context, fly ash usually refers to ash produced during combustion of coal. Fly ash is generally captured by electrostatic precipitators or other particle filtration equipment before the flue gases reach the chimneys of coalfired power plants, and together with bottom ash removed from the bottom of the furnace is in this case jointly known as coal ash. Cardanol oil, a renewable raw material well known by product of the cashew industry, has been used as the starting material for the synthesis of novel fulleropyrrolidines cardanol based. In this work, cardanol has been used as building block for the preparation of target cardanol based precursors obtained by the way of the convenient transformation of the functional groups (aromatic ring, -OH group or the double bonds of the side chain) of the cardanolic structure. Pure 3-n-pentadecylphenol and its derivatives having homogeneous chemical composition, used as the precursor of any fulleropyrrolidines, have been prepared by hydrogenation of the un-saturated side chain and subsequent alkylation of the aromatic ring of
Today, more PVC Pipes are being used than any other pipe product. PVC is a thermosetting plastic. In other words, it can only be softened and molded into form once. If it is softened and remolded a second time it will lose some of its favorable characteristics. Recently, Fuseable PVC has come to market to compete with the fuseable properties of HDPE Pipe. Confectionery or sweetmeats are preserved edible delicacies consisting of a solid or crystalline phase and a liquid or non-crystalline phase the relative proportion of which determine the type of confectionery. The principal types of confectionery are hand boiled goods, caramel and toffee, ratin goods, comfits or draggees, and lozenges. Sugar is the principal ingredient of confectionery. There are about 50 important confectionery factories in the country. Mainly in U.P. Bihar, Mumbai, Punjab, and Bengal. In addition , a large number of small concerns are producing sugar confectionery with indigenous equipments. It is difficult to estimate the total output of the sugar confectionery manufactured in the country as a large proportion of its produced by small concerns. It was, however, estimated that in the early fifties, the out but of confectionery was about 12,000MT. which is now approaching to about a lac ton. Individual Quick Freezing (I.Q.F.) is the latest technology available in freezing and with the advent of the same, it is now possible to preserve and store raw fruit and vegetables in the same farm-fresh condition for more than a year, with the color, flavor and texture of produce remaining as good as fresh from the farm.In IQF, each piece is frozen individually using technique of fluidization resulting in freezing of fruit and vegetables only in 10 to 12 minutes which otherwise takes at least 3 to 4 hours or even more in the blast freezer. The important feature of this process is ultra-rapid freezing to very low temperatures (-300C to - 400C) designed to halt the activities of the microorganisms that cause decay and deteriorate foodstuffs. This results into better texture and there is no lump/ block formation and the product is free flowing. The Alcohol industry is very important for the government. It generates an estimated Rs. 16,000 crore per annum in spite of the fact that the per capita consumption of liquor in India is the lowest in the world. The total liquor industry is worth Rs. 2,000 crore. IMFL accounts for only a third of the total liquor consumption in India. Most IMFLs are cheap and are priced below Rs. 200 per bottle. Alcohol sales proceeds account for 45% of the total revenue collection in the country. Whiskey accounts for 60% of the liquor sales while rum; brandy any vodka account for 17% 18% and 6% respectively. MNCs share is only 10% and they have been successful only in the premium and super premium ranges. Post WTO the government may have opened India to
Controlled atmosphere storage is a system for holding produce in an atmosphere that differs substantially from normal air in respect to CO 2 and O2 levels. Controlled atmosphere storage refers to the constant monitoring and adjustment of the CO2 and O2 levels within gas tight stores or containers. The gas mixture will constantly change due to metabolic activity of the respiring fruits and vegetables in the store and leakage of gases through doors and walls. The gases are therefore measured periodically and adjusted to the predetermined level by the introduction of fresh air or nitrogen or passing the store atmosphere through a chemical to remove CO2. There are different types of controlled atmosphere storage depending mainly on the method or degree of control of the gases. Some researchers prefer to use the terms static controlled atmosphere storage and flushed controlled atmosphere storage to define the two most commonly used systems.
