NEWS RELEASE 1/8/2014 CHAIRWOMAN JACOB, INTERIM MAYOR GLORIA DECLARE FRIDAY CHARGERS SPIRIT DAY San Diego Interim Mayor Todd Gloria and county Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Dianne Jacob urge residents to wear Chargers team colors on Friday (1/10) as the team prepares to tame the Broncos. Its time to wear our pride on our sleeves and show the Chargers that we share their fighting spirit, said Jacob. Denver is about to get a big jolt from the Bolt. The Chargers are on a roll and Im betting they roll right through Denver and on to the AFC Championship game, said Gloria. Im feeling confident that my Chargers blue-and-yellow tie is going to get plenty of extra use the next few weeks. Good luck, Bolts! Jacob wore a Chargers jersey to work on Tuesday, her first day as 2014 board chairwoman. She is a longtime Chargers season ticket holder.
