Habitat
Clownfish live in the ocean, in a anemone. They live in Australia, South East Asia, Japan and The Indo-Malaysian region. They only live in salty waters.

Adaptations
Female clownfish are the biggest clownfish in a group to clownfish. They can lay hundreds or thousands of eggs at one time. When the female clownfish dies, the biggest male clownfish will become a female. Then the baby clownfish will become males.

Predator and Prey

Clownfish are omnivours. Clownfish eat zooplankton, tiny animals, phytoplankton and tiny plants. Clownfish and Anemonefish might look the same but they are not the same. The biggest predators to clownfish are human.

Threats
POLLUTION
If there is pollution, the water will be polluted. Then the plankton will take in the water and the small fish will eat the plankton. Next the bigger fish will eat the small fish. Afterwards another fish will eat the big fish and last of all the clownfish will eat the leftovers of that fish.

OVERFISHING
If people overfish then there will be no more fish left. Then there will be no more fish for the clownfish to eat.

My Discoveries
Symbiotic Relationship Clownsh's length are from 2.7 cm to 3.1 cm. Female clownsh are the biggest clownsh in a group of clownsh. A clownsh's slime coating is transparent, so you can't see it. The clownsh and anemone work together to help each other. Clownsh have a slime coating that protects them from the stings of the anemone. So when it goes into the anemone, the predator thinks its ne to go into its home. Then the predator will die because of the sting of the anemone. Then when there are no predators. At the clownsh's sight, the clownsh goes outand eats the leftovers of that animal.
