Planning for school development is the most important outcome of school self evaluation. It is no use knowing where your school is now unless you can use that knowledge to plan the next steps on your journey to excellence.

Presentation to Parent Body
The original document was presented to the Parent Advisory Council at a monthly meeting in October, 2012. The plan now in the ADEC format has not been presented parents but will be in September 2013. There will be new PAC elections at that time.

The above diagram represents the school development cycle through ongoing self-evaluation and periodic inspection. The self evaluation you have performed should give you a clear idea of how well you are doing across the 8 Performance Standards. The next stage is to decide on your priority areas and what you can reasonably achieve over the next period of planning
School Development Plan 2013 - 2014 For each of the 8 Performance Standards your self evaluation has identified your estimation of your current stage of development. From this evaluation you should have identified the next steps you need to make in this area. Across the 8 Performance Standards as a whole this will give a number of possible targets for your school development plan. When you have identified your main targets across the 8 Standards in this way you are ready to translate them into your School Development Plan (SDP). Remember that the number of targets and the timelines for their completion should reflect your capacity. Do not include more targets than you can realistically cope with. PRIORITIZE by starting first with the Recommendations for Improvement from the latest Inspection Report. How your SEF analysis will help you to set your targets:

. Mission: The ENS Abu Dhabi City Campus, an internationally-minded learning community, is dedicated to the development of inquiring, critical thinking, globally responsible citizens who are challenged to realize their full potential through authentic learning experiences.

. 1122 11 051 051 . The ENS Primary / KG school is located in the Manaseer area of Abu Dhabi. The new school building opened in September 2011, which houses the KG and the primary school. There are approximately 650 students in the primary school and 450 students in the KG school. There are between six to nine classes at each grade level. The average class has approximately 22 students. All of the teachers are fully certified and have a minimum of two years teaching experience. The teaching staff represents over 20 different nationalities, which supports our emphasis of being an internationally minded school. In addition to the core subjects, we offer Arabic, Islamic, UAE Studies, Music, Art, PE and Computer classes.
