One of the !reat piece that I felt was very powerful was the &#e #ill No *on!er +e $een and Not ,eard& by +arbara -ru!er. It pretty much shows . different photos of people not sayin! anythin! but bein! interpreted with their actions. /ou can tell that the artist really wanted to show that powerful interpretation throu!h the messa!es in the pictures. Another !reat piece was the &+ull (rofile $eries six prints& by 0oy *ichtenstein. "he way the artist shows the transformation of a cow into a more of a !eometric fi!ure print that you wouldn1t be able to tell it came from the initial print of the cow is 2ust creative. It also !oes from a not many color into a colorful drawin!. Another one of my favorite display of art from the exhibit which was labeled 34ontemporary prints& from the collection of 5ordan 6. $chnit7er. I was absolutely fascinated with this piece 2ust because of how it had 6r. 8artin *uther -in! 5r. 5ohn 9. -ennedy the first man on the moon an African American man "upac :shot and crawlin!; 8artin *uther -in! 5r. dead in a coffin some military officials and also some people in the back!round holdin! up the peace si!n. Another interestin! work of art at the museum was the <!yptian coffin that contained the mummy of (adiusir. "his coffin is from around ==>?5@5 +4<. I found it interestin! to know about how many different civili7ations throu!hout time have chan!ed. +elievin! that you !o to a type of heaven after death has been a belief that !oes way back in time. Another interestin! piece that cau!ht my eye was the &+ent to a $trai!ht and Narrow at a (oint of (assa!e& by *awrence #einer. It was basically a very lar!e brown room with those words written in blue and boldly across the walls. I liked it because it was simple yet very artistic. It kind of reminded me of the sayin! that !oes by &A picture is worth a thousand words& 2ust because there was many pictures around the walls. #hat)s also interestin! is that the way they had the li!htin! set up in this museum because the li!htin! in this exhibit was white with florescent white li!htin! that was oddly very bri!ht. I believe this white li!ht was used to push the attention toward the different kinds of pictures and not the thin!s that was around it. "he li!ht definitely did its 2ob. "here was a lot of people in this exhibit as I came to walk around I found everythin! else 2ust bland. One work of art that it1s meanin! surprised me was the &6iscarded 8emories& sculpture :A.5B; by 4hakai +ooker. "he sculpture was made out of strips of rubber tires and wood. I)m pretty sure it would capture anyone)s attention. 9rom far it looks like a really creative sculpture with all the turns the strips made but from closer one is able to see that it is made out of tires.

I would definitely come a!ain if I !et the chance to. It was a !reat learnin! experience to me I !ot to learn about many of the pieces of work they had there. Aside from the many museums that I have visited in the past I definintely en2oyed this one. It had many different types of art. I really liked the vibe that was there. On the side note I also really liked how they had a cafe there.
