Choose one Instructional Software title. Complete all fields in the following template to describe the software and how you would use this product in your future classroom to help elementary students achieve required learning standards. The graphics are visually appealing and there is a variety of different instructional software approaches for each topic. For example, there are 8 different programs for word problems on the site, all ranging from tutorials, instructional games, and problem solving programs. The variety will give students of all learning types something to be interested in. Suggestions for Improvement: Some programs lead to other sites off Math Playground, which could be a problem. They do not have any opions for different languages. They do not have any assessments or feedback for teachers. Description of how to implement in the class: After teaching a directed lesson on a math subject, students will have technology-based centers around the room. One center will have drill-and-practice programs that reinforce the material to get students to retain the 1

knowledge. The other station will be a tutorial on the subject, which will clear up students who are confused. The next center will be an instructional game, which students can be engaged in the lesson with fun and competition with other learners. The last station will be "free time," so students can play any program on the Math Playground site. I will occupy the computer lab for this lesson.
