Description of Activity/Task/Experience that demonstrates I am at or above standard in the specific skills for the standard mentioned above: In my senior year, I was assigned a project in which I was in a group and we had to prepare an infographic that explored a topic in a book we were recently reading. An infograph is a visual image like a diagram or chart used to represent information and or data. Are research topic was on the sixth mass extinction and how we as humans are greatly influencing our environment and those who live in it. We were given a rubric that explained exactly what the teachers wanted on the infograhic and from there we had to work on it. My group decided to split the work so we would all equally be involved and contribute something to our assignment. We researched information and date on our topic and assembled the infograph. On our presentation day, we stood in front of our classmates and shared what we had learned and we responded to some questions that we are asked. We also listened to our classmates presentations as well.

Explanation/Reflection of how the activity/task/experience described above meets or exceeds the specific skills of the standard mentioned above: I think this project was somewhat successful. There was some difficulty in the way my group and I communicated. We finished the project on time and I think we did pretty well. I get really nervous in front of crowds so this project helped me improve in the way I deliver information. Also working in a team is hard, everyone has their opinions so this project helped with problem solving and coming to a compromise all agree to.
