MANDATORY CRITERIA Required for consideration 1.

. Actions of the nominee must positively reflect Robert Chinn Foundation values and have improved, in a positive manner, the nations civic, cultural, educational quality of life for all Asian Pacific Americans while contributing to the American experience. 2. A United States citizen of Asian or Pacific Islander descent. Those of mixed heritage are eligible to be nominated. 3. Demonstrated an historic achievement or precedent in the experiences of Asian Pacific Americans. 4. Demonstrated significant achievement in the field of which they have been honored. 5. Selection is irrespective of future, current or past contributions to the Robert Chinn Foundation. 6. Honorees must be available to be honored at the Asian Hall of Fame awards. 7. In case of posthumous awards, close family members must be available to accept the Asian Hall of Fame award on the honorees behalf. AUXILLARY CRITERIA 1. Honorees must serve to do public relations, projects and visits benefitting the community, the Asian Hall of Fame, and the Robert Chinn Foundation. 2. Honorees agree to give rights to their images and likenesses for the purposes of being honored at the Asian Hall of Fame. PROCESS 1. Input on nominees will taken from the community at-large, staff, Robert Chinn Foundation Board and those advising the Asian Hall of Fame Committee. 2. Staff, with cooperation of volunteers or the Asian Hall of Fame Committee, will then compile candidates to be selected by the Robert Chinn Foundation Board of Directors. 3. The Robert Chinn Foundation Board of Directors selection is final.
